I am getting an Epic World Cup.
I need a bb for my SRM.
XX1 SRM is GXP, so I need a BB that does PF30 to GXP.
What is the best?
I see Praxis has one, Wheels makes a nice one with angular contact bearings and also Enduro makes one.

King is nice but I wonder of some of the others where the two sides thread together might offer better bearing life and less potential for creaking?
I have a Kogel in my Specialized cross bike. It works nicely and has yet to make noise.
I would say that the Kogel is very similar to a PF30 King bb.

I just installed the wheels pf30 to gxp bb.
It is a really nice unit.
Does not need spacers or anything like that for my bike.

Praxis is the most reliable. It's a little heavy and expensive.

Wheels manufacturing works well, is light and cheap but isn't the most elegant solution.

C-Bear got also nice bbs

The most important thing is that the bracket got aluminium cups! Use glue for them - no grease

I ended up going with a Kogel. I really like it. Silky smooth, quiet, requires no spacers.

The GXP and Campy UT systems have in common that they locate the crank by locking one BB bearing in place and allowing the opposite side to "float". The other thing they have in common is they were engineered before the days of pressfit, and relied on threaded cups to hold the "locked" bearing in place.

This is a preamble to the thought that any system that presses in cups or adapters and relies on that to hold the crank in place is at odds with the original design intent, and therefore a problem waiting to happen.

So, IMO a logical reason for using a threaded BB system when installing a GXP or Campy crankset in a PF frame.
There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...

take a look at Kogel Bearings, they give you a 3 year warranty on the bearings if you service them at your bike shop every 12 months! I have used their BB30 for the winter season, cleaning with a pressure hose and no sign of wear so far...
