Here is my home built Litespeed Niota Al, not sure of the exact year, front triangle appears to be circa 2006, but it has the later rear on it, most parts came from my old hardtail but my legs needed some respite on the rougher sections! (photo taken before saddle and rear mech were finalised).

Total 10,081g

It may put on some weight as I'm looking for a slightly better fork, the lack of compression damping and flex on this are now an issue as I'm riding it harder than the old HT, long term aim though is to sneak it below 10Kg.

The frame rides really nicely, I'm still playing with the rear sag but it's really smooth and linear feeling, the shock gives a great pedal platform and as its slightly shorter than the original Fox it has lowered the BB and relaxed the Geo slightly, numbers are now similar to a Giant Anthem.

This has cost me £800 (€960, US$1280) as its stands which I think is pretty good value, from here the weight saving is going to get expensive though!
