Hi All,

I've searched around but can't seem to find out the widest tire I can fit to a Rock Shox Reba rl 29er from 2013?

I'm looking to fit continental mountain king 2.25 wide if possible but don't want to foul the fork.

Any advice/ experience greatfully received

Thanks

ophir

2.25" fit inside the 26" variety with no problem.

You should have plenty of room.

Found this on Google image search:

I think it's an older fork but it looks like the lowers have stayed pretty much the same for all of the Reba's life. The picture shows a 2.4 Racing Ralph on a 30mm rim. Until 29+ came along, this was the biggest 'mainstream' combo possible and there is a mountain of room.

Is that not more likely to be a wheel/axle/skewer issue rather than tyre size.

not gonna find a stiffer wheel than I use, its flex in the fork causing the tire to rub.
