has anyone tired bontrager tlr sealant in a ikon non TR tire? how does it compare in general to stans?

I'm looking at getting the dual compound ikons which are not TR to save $$. I read the ammonia causes bubbling, which is in stans. after looking at several ammonia-free sealants, the bontrager costs the same as stans. which is the cheapest I've found. sealing 16 tires for $25. the second cheapest non ammonia I've found is continental Revo. sealing 10 tires for $23

I haven't used them with those tires, but the Bontrager sealant is the best off-the-shelf brew I've used. It's been able to keep my road bike to about 55psi, which is better than Stan's, but not quite as good as my Stan's/Slime homebrew (65psi).

Gabe, Why are you opposed to using the TR versions of the Maxxis tires? I've had great success with Maxxis TR MTB and CX tires.

just to save money. the TR tires are $15-20 more each.
