Hi All, thought i would share my latest project - just picked up this frame today. First carbon MTB - pretty excited to get this one built. Weight with bb is 2.3kg - i think the bb weighs approx 100g. should be a reasonably good starting point, not the lightest, but very well built.

My proposed build kit (based on parts i've got)
- Fox Float CTD Factory 29
- Fox CTD Shock
- Cane Creek 40 headset (urgh integrated)
- X1 group with X1 rear mech
- X01 rear mech
- Xtr pedals
- Stans arch ex on hope pro 2's
- Easton EC70 bars (pretty sure they are 720mm wide)
- Easton EA70 alu seatpost
- Easton EA70 stem
- Elixir 9 Trails w/ 180 front rotor and 160 rear
- ESI grips - the race type
- Specialized seatpost collar
- WTB Volt saddle
- RaRa's front and back

...i think that's everything. I'm interested to see how i go on this - aiming for under 12kg i think. I haven't got many (any?) lightweight bits on there yet, things can always get lighter... However, i'd like to keep it as strong as possible, i'm pretty hard on my mountain bikes. Anyone got any suggestions? hoping to get it built this week...
