Say it with me now: It has no damper.

Err, yes it does, it's not hydraulic, but the material has internal hysteresis and that provides damping, whether it is enough or not is a different question, but stop saying it has no damper when it does.

You must not have ridden one. That thing is so springy, you'd say there is no damping system after riding it. Then again, I've seen a lot of whack rebound settings, so some people may see it as normal.

It does feel nice on smooth, straight trail though. Especially if you're standing and sprinting.

Well this is primary a XCM racer and there aren't a whole lot of super technical terrain on them but a whole lot of gravelroads...

You'll likely enjoy it then. Dirt roads are where it excels. It really makes the bike feel a lot lighter/more responsive too.

If you're riding rooty, rocky terrain, it is not the fork to choose.

I'll guess we just have to wait and see :)

I guess that's where my experiences diverge from yours.

In the US, lots of marathon and endurance races are mostly, or almost exclusively, singletrack.

Cant embed the pics right now so you only get three right now :)

Still need to change the seatpost, stem, handlebar, pedals and some small stuff. 8,7kg as it stands on these pics. Loosing about 1kg on the planned things.

Don't discount the Lauf Fork just got done racing on it in Arizona at the 24hrs of Old Pueblo, performed flawlessly, even on some of their rocky terrain. Conserves energy for the long haul.

I agree, i really love it now! Basically going the same speed on my testtrack as my former FS 29er.
