I guess I'll have to wait and see if the 2016 bike is any better than our current FSi's. Not so keen on the new stem even if the OPI is kind of a pain in the butt.

Sold as ex display but looks like it has had crash with bars whipping both ways causing chips on the top tube.

Still got a bit of discount, thought it would be a nasty suprise.

Nearly every bolt is loose, even stem to bars, it doesn't change gear and jumps, frayed gear cable.

Still felt unsafe on first ride, a wreck.

Rear wheel is well out, just need to make a lefty adapter for trying stand. Will check tensions for a laugh.

Where did the nice fabric saddle go? Tyres are performance line, not as spec shown on sites.

Otherwise a good weight for the money with stans in.

Next year the 2 is not Hi mod, frame feels stiff but not first generation Scott Scale HMX stiff

Total strip down ongoing to try and rescue, probably bent hanger in there too. Will be matching up the blue if any one wants the formula for touch up paint.

Large size, bearings still in. Not bad.

1160grams...under 1000 fully stripped bare I would expect.

Wheels.....I can also confirm the FSI offset is in no way 6mm. Do not use info in users manual.

ChrizZZz, was 10.5mm offset perfect?

Yap, around 10mm.

I had heard it was 6mm? Surely Cannondale has got an official offset listed somewhere?

If it is 10mm, I wonder why they would choose to offset so much? With most normal hubs 6mm is pretty much ideal. Unless you use a hub with extremely wide NDS spacing, 10mm offset basically starts to create tension imbalance in the other direction which seems a bit pointless :noidea:

[img][/img]]Handbook states 6mm. Please see rest of photo's on my photobucket. Also a video of a very wobbly wheel. I couldn't face living with that.

Anyway, potential builders should check in frame and establish a centre line before going too far with the build. The seatpost wasn't in line with the wheel when I offered it up with 6mm. Then I remembered a post on here from a wheel builder.

More wheel data. Spokes were tight and fairly even. Glued with loctite from factory perhaps, impossible to turn. Nipples are 14mm brass. Spoke is nearer 1.7mm on the butting but looks like a DT comp. Pulled apart before I checked the dish but considered it a bit out to take a reliable dish figure anyway. This wheel must never have been near a truing stand when new. (this is a 'new' bike apparently) Maybe there is no need for wheel to be true. :?

I can say that this is a very stiff wheel, very hard to de-stress, stronger then 26inch mavics on 240s.....at least that is my feeling on this. Hub is not as free running as my DT swiss 240 but will probably be OK, to be honest I have not worked on things as crappy as this before, would be nice to ride this bike sometime soon as I'm not a bike mechanic anyway.
