The Tunehubs are really nice, lovely in blue. But not perfect fit on the new Lefty, doesn't they use the new wider hubs too?

I didn´t knew, and thought the front hub was the same. But someone told me (in another forum), that the front hub is different, especial for this new Lefty.

Hi, those wheels are great, but they cost half a bike. Anyway, great choice.
What weight did you achieve?
Best regards.

the_marsbar;

As I am unable to PM yet, here is the info re the size of the F-Si.

I am 6ft tall with a 33" inside leg and Large is spot on.

Having previously had a Flash Carbon 26, Flash Carbon 29er and Scalpel 29ers I can confirm there is very little in the length / reach of these bikes.

If anything, I would say the Scalpel was the longest and the Flash and F-Si's are very similar. It should also be noted that all of the bikes have had 110mm OPI stems with the exception of the F-Si, this is the stock 90mm OPI stem and could compensate for the slightly longer top tube you suggest?

It was my understanding that when the Scalpel 29er was developed the geometry had exactly the same contact points (with 10% sag on the suspension) as the Flash 29er so the Factory Team could easily transition between the two. My comments above would suggest the same.

Thanks, jcopland.

I am currently running a 100 mm stem on my F29 (I'm 179.5 cm tall), but I would probably prefer a 90 mm stem.

If you say that you feel the same using a 110 mm stem on the F29 and a 90 mm stem on the F-Si, then I am thinking that the large F-Si will be too big.

When I was choosing me new frame (not an F-Si unfortunately) I found the following site is invaluable for size comparisons and calculating the required stem lengths and height on a new bike to replicate your current set up: http://bb2stem.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/s ... -v100.html (scroll across for the one titled "CALCULATE BASED ON PUBLISHED STACK AND REACH")
