I snapped the inner cage (I.e. side that sits closest to the wheel) of my Shimano Saint 9sd rear derailleur today. Nothing else is broken so all I need to replace is the cage. I can't seam to find one through Shimano but the way I see it all I need is a 9sd short cage. Anyone got any ideas, I was wondering if one of those China carbon cages could be an option? 2nd question, anyone know of any tubeless, 26" gumwall tires comparable to Rocket Ron's in grip? I'm modernizing an old Klein Attitude (post to come) and I think they would look really good.

Ask any Shimano stockist to get the right cage part, but yes you could get a CF one as long as the distance between centres is correct.

Just came across some Charge Splashback tyres, looks like they would be what you want!
