For various reasons I'm looking at new XC/AM brake sets.

I searched here on Brake Force One and see the very mixed opinions. Enough to rule those out.

But what about Trickstuff? They make a Cleg 2- as well as 4-piston caliper which is highly touted as good as XTR.
Please give opinions about the Clegs, also what you think are the most powerful circa-200g (i.e. lever, hose & caliper) brakes.

I do lots of climbing, so coming back down are long, medium-grade fast descents with sharp corners. Hence the need for really good brakes!
Thanks!

Don't like the Formula R1?

Very nice brakes and light weight.. You can buy all the pieces to replace if needed.
