My Dura Ace 7900 front mech doesn't shift to the big ring with 40/26 chainrings. Frame is Scott Scale 900, crank 2014 Race Face Next SL with 120/80 2x spider. Chainrings BOR 40 and Tune 26. Shifters are XTR M980.
It shifted fine with 42/27, but now it will go far over the ring but the chain won't climb on it. Tried with cage 1mm from chainring and higher didn't work either. The cage is shaped too different for 40T. At the moment I have a heavy 124g Ultegra 6703 that shifts fine.

What's my lightest option for a down pull, high clamp 34,9 clamp derailleur? I'd prefer to avoid braze on with a separate clamp. There's 10s Sram Force, Shimano CX70. Any success with those using a smaller big ring?
