Hi

I have a Tune Kong x12x142mm rear hub (17mm axle)- I was going to use this but found out that my rear hub on my training wheel can't be converted to x12x142mm. Since I'm not going to change the hub on my training wheel in the rear future and don't want to change dropout on the frame when changing between racing and training wheel I think it would be easier to convert the Tune hub to 135x5mm QR.

So my question is: Do I need to change axle and end caps? or is it's enough to change the end caps?

I'm thinking that I need to change the axle too to convert from 142mm to 135mm but wants to be sure :-)

On a second thought maybe changing the end caps might be enough since the axle is not a full 142mm in length.

Yes, you need to change the axle too what I know, that's what included in the kit for changing the opposite way from Tune at least.
