I'm looking for a new wide and light carbon bar. I have a Titec flat tracker carbon, but not very impressed with the stiffness. Any experience with the New Ultimate flat 700m carbon bar (110g) or a MTZoom 710mm flat carbon bar (118g)? They are about the same price but would like the stiffest.

I have a Truvativ Noir T30 10S, which I really like. It's a bit heavier than the ones you mention (180 g), but it's plenty stiff for me, and the 10 degrees of backsweep (700 mm wide) is nice IMO.

Maybe a Schmolke if $ is not a problem?
I find Syntace bars really nice thanks to their generous backsweep, but weight isn't that impressive (Vector 680 riser I am using comes at 189g).

I have the NU EVO bars - works great and feels stiff. Mine is 118 grams in matt finish. Have a friend who has the Mt. Zoom and he's also very satisfied with the bars. Don't know the real exact weight.

You could also have a look at the Tune - 740mm and around 110 grams.

Mt Zoom are great bars. Very light (true to claims), not at all expensive, stiff and durable. Ant will also replace the bars at 1/2 price in the event of a crash and is great to deal with in general.

From cheaper options I would recommend XLC stuff- SL HB-K04

700mm claimed 193g, but actual weight is :D

For weight/price it seems like New Ultimate or Mtzoom is the best option. And when no one are calling these limp it seems like both are reasonably stiff so I could go either way. Would like to see a stiffness comparison of different bars, but seems no one has looked into this for the moment.

I have always been partial to Easton carbon bars, EC90 and EC70. Extremely reliable, lightweight, and easy to find for a good price.

I've got the Mt Zoom one and it's excellent, no discernible flex at all.

Thanks.. the difference between the Tune 7 (cut to the same size) is about 10 grams and "half" the money.

Maybe I'll swap my 3T exsero (155 grams) with one.
