Hi all, is anyone out there using SW7971 shifters on a flatbar? If so, was it just plug and play? Were you able to eliminate the original shifters in the brake handles? and lastly, how did you mount them to your handlebars? Thanks in advance.

Sorry Goodboyr, I thought I could get ideas on flatbar shifter systems, but I do think your carbon road bike you built is soooo cool. I am starting to go thru the thread looking for the wiring diagram today. Again, sorry for upsetting you.

No problem. I'm not upset, just pointing out the forum etiquette here. Please keep us posted (in the other thread of course) on your progress.
