Hi all,
I'm Oli and I'm new here! I'm from the UK (not sure if this is predominantly a US site or not) and I've been attempting to shed weight from my retro Kona commuter build.
So I've got to the wheel conundrum. I want to run vbrakes front and back and have looked at the listing but am struggling to know what is decent or not.
I've found some retro hope hubs (sub 180g and 290g Fr and Rr) and I'm pretty certain that they are good if not expensive!
I want to radially lace the front and the NDS of the rear, so my question is: what parts do I use (used is fine) to get to a 1200g set (no skewers or cassette)?
Cheers
Many, many, many topics on this. As a noob, I recommend please using
lightweight MTB wheel build - what's out there?
