EP carbon steerer bonded to a AX stem is probably the only CF Lefty stem set up I've seen... I guess too much of a niche product for the bigger manufacturers to invest a lot in

DanW: Or just a nice handlebar with a stem/steerer combo by EP :)

Except that FRM had one but is pretty heavy and no reason to buy.

Yep, the EP combos are the only nice, light stuff I've come across.

OP, does your stem integrate with the Cannondale SI steerer or with something else? Is it lighter than the 158g SI stem you posted in the other thread? I'd have thought weight will never be in your favour if retaining the Cannondale SI steerer but am looking forward to seeing what you've made

Looks awesome! I really like that you have kept the classic Cannondale OPI stem shape.

What is your background if it is ok to ask?

Lefty is stock 2011 DLR that come with Flash, and is only thing that 'survive' from this 26er.
From last year I am on 29 and decidet left them running...
But make same changes...make a new top cap with a cable stop, new, deeper handle that accept spring for return remote operation, and all together work with Fox remote handle.

I would be interested in the 90mm -25 or even 30 degree as the -25 I have now is an anchor at 280g without steerer.

25 degree is possible,but 30 litlle dificult,because a bolt on the upper lefty crown,and weight..for 90 mm,think can be around 230g

I would be interested in a 90mm -15 deg

How is your project coming? Any idea what you would charge for these stems?
