humm I thought the cranks were interchangeable and the spider was the only concern to make it fit a MTB. My bad

Lol...I didn't think there was a difference besides the spider either. The Spesh OSBB is the same on both road and dirt?

The spindle is a different length and some of the older road cranks also have a different spline on the Hirth coupling AFAIK.

The S-Works MTB cranks have a spindle length of 90.7mm. The road version is something like 74mm.
