Hi,
I have a new Pivot Les 29er built up with full XTR with triple front mech. This bolts directly to the frame and is the FD-M981-D model. It has cable stops for both top pull and bottom pull routing. My frame uses bottom pull so I have a useless extra piece of metal on my mech that is great for collecting mud.
Has anybody cut theirs off or is there a direct mount bottom pull version without this extra part on it available?
thanks,
Tom

I cut it off the un wanted piece on a XTR M960 front der, they only made the one model that does both top and bottom pull.

Mine went under the knife too. Thankfully with the polished mixed finish on XTR it looks perfect.
