I have a lovely old HT that is running XTR 960 cranks that are fine.

I was wondering if, being Octalink 11 it was possible to fit the Stages PM left arm or whether the fitting had in some way changed in the last decade?

Just to be clear this is the crankset you have, right?

The m960 will work with the XTR/XT (980/780) stages arm.

Shimano m970 will NOT work with a stages arm.

Yes that's the one, the M960. I think the finish is quite similar to the new XTR too which is a bonus.
