CRANK BROTHERS Eggbeater 11 ?

Hi, I have the chance to buy a pair of these pedals, not new, used but it good condition.
I know of the problems encountered on CB pedals, but I've read that CB Eggbeater 11 are more stronger, reliable but I don't know if it is related to all Eggbeater 11 pedals or there is new, improved revision of these pedals (like let's say all Eggbeaters manufactured after June 2013) ?
Also if there is somebody that could share his experience with the CB 11 please do so...
