How does a Rockshox sid 100mm 29er fork compares to a fox 32 rlc fit 100mm fork regarding its impact on the bike's geometry? Is there any difference in fork measurements, length, rake, etc?
Any general comments on those 2 models regarding racing would be appreciated too. I raced on a sid but no experience on a 29er fox, they look nice but dont know much else about them.
29er suspension fork and impact on geometry

The SID and Fox are almost identical. Current SID's have a 3 mm longer axle-to-crown than fox. Negligible once you factor in the actual movement of the suspension. I'd imagine rake is also almost identical.
Do yourself a favour and get iCD if funds allow. Been riding an iCD dually most of the season and it's the best thing going.

I'd like to know the real weights too. Both for :
FOx 32 rlc fit 100mm kashima 15mm thru axle, tapered
Rockshox sid lockout (no remote) 15mm thru axle, tapered
I need something racy and fairly light, it's going on a steel frame
