So here is the problem: I have a 2011 Scott Spark 10 carbon and I want to fit a Sram XX crankset BB30 175mm.
This frame has a BB92 'PF30 integrated Required' and has currently installed a GXP BB92 PressFit Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket MTB - like this one: http://goo.gl/UaWTD
I don't know much about BB's and I have been digging the internet for the right BB, but still not sure what to do. So my questions are:
- Can I just replace the bearings? like this one: http://goo.gl/opdjl
- Is this what I need? http://goo.gl/NtJyT
- What Is the lightest solution for this? any other brand 'lighter'?
Any help will be much appreciated!
thanks.

You can only put the SRAM GXP-style cranksets on your bike.
here is my frame, go to the spec tab: http://www.racycles.com/products/detail/28850" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That isn't your exact frame that they are selling.
I am assuming you are talking about your bike from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=114783
Scott made 2 versions of the Spark 10 in 2011, one with BB92 and one with PF30. You have BB92.
The diameter of the BB in your BB92 frame is too small to fit a BB30.
edit: fixed the link

This thread you posted is about a different subject, you might have made a mistake.

If that's the case, thank you for clarifying that. I didn't know about the two versions....bummer

Cool! I was checking their compatibility chart to understand more about BB's. Looks like my frame has 41mm of inner diameter and 92mm of with (that's why is BB92). - http://www.rotorbike.com/media/files/20 ... 317970.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So to answer all my questions this is definitely a good solution and also lighter, 66g against 94g from my current GXP BB.
Thanks!

Rotor 4130 in a BB92 frame is too wide for SRAM BB30 cranks.
I've noticed that this XX crankset has a plastic ring near the crankarm. I was able to remove it I did a measurement so we can see what is possible to do.
Question: what is this ring for? would it fit with Rotor 4130 without it?

All right, I was stupid on this one since the thread would never 'slide' into the BB.
I guess is a lost case. Crank is for sale! lol

Ok Thanks! I've learned my lesson on this one! I'm assuming this crank would fit in any standard BB30 frame right? like the Cannondale Flash frame? I'm thinking about getting one.
