Anyone know of any other than the Niner RDO (frantically expensive) and the Salsa Cromoto Grande Maxle (heavy)?

Beware - it's not a fork for you if you weight more than 350 lbs :-D

Not sure that's going to be cheaper than the Niner fork, either...

I have a cyclist friend who weights close to that and he rides a lot more than many on this forum.

I had hoped one of the manufacturers who make rigid forks (eg. White Bros, Shimano disguised as Pro) would have looked at this, as there is a demand.

Are 'rigid' forks that flexible they would benefit from a through axle or is it just so you can use the same wheels?

Partly to allow same wheels (though eg. Hopes this isn't a problem as it's just a case of changing end caps), and partly to assuage worries about wheel ejection.

A correctly fitted wheel doesn't eject, full stop!

Looks like Salsa are about to launch one for 2014, details a bit lacking at this stage.

I used to have a Ritchey Logic tube fork when I bought a KHS Montana Team that was flexible enough to give some suspension----would these carbon forks give that type of compliance?
