It would be good to know how you get on with the Extralite grips Mads. I have a pair and followed the installation instructions but couldn't get them to stop rotating/ slipping off. I feel the very low density foam lacks the structure to maintain a constant diameter and a constant hold on the bars even if glued. They are just too easy to stretch and deform in my try with these but would love to know if you get them to work well.
Bike is looking great!

Liggero - you are probably right. Have been thinking about it
DanW - I have the same problem. Only been using hairspray so far so have you tried with that glue that extralite recommend?

No luck with the Extralite recommendations. I have a thread here on WW about these grips but can't find it quickly. Best suggestion was tubular tyre glue which I have yet to try- I got impatient and put my old foam grips on. These are now dying so I might have another attempt with the Extralites
Ah okay - thanks. Anyone tried it? Thinking if it's possible to remove the grips again?

I only use hairspray or Windex on mine. Work perfect and they are the best and most durable grips I have ever owned.
Handlebar diameter and finish could be a factor here too. I use mine on Syntace Duraflite Carbon and Ax Lightness Poseidon.

I don't think it's the handlebars - I just changed to my thicker Scott neogrips for some 7 hours riding and they stayed tight with only hairspay. But I think I will try with some extra glue because I like the shallow Extralite grips.
Hej Mads,
What size is your Scott and what is your height?
By the way it looks amazing!

I am kind of sad to see it go. Really liked the look of this bike! What's in the works?
Waiting for a Scott Scale RC 900 2013 in size small - I decided to go with the 2013 because the 2014 has x12 rear dropout and I'm not sure my hubs can be rebuild. Also like the paintjob of the 2013 better.
Hope to clean up my table soon hehe

Nice! I thought the M size was big for you looking at your setup.

Empty the wine bottles first
Any changes to the new build besides frame?
