I heard of the problem with the rear wheel - didn't have any of that myself. It was the bottom bracket shell on my frame.

Just heard that the frame should be in stock now - crossing my fingers for the wait is over soon :-)

Yes, my bike came with a DT wheelset. Also tried Easton, Novatec and a generic steel qr. Most times I would notice shifting problems and disc brake rub so I new it was time to stop and tighten it again.
Eventually the drive side drop out ovalized. I am disgusted with my mtb frame situation.

That sounds terrible, Gregorio. I hope you'll have better luck in the future.

Did Scott improve the tire clearance on the new frame? That has always been a disadvantage of Scales IMO.

Yes - the frame has arrived!!!! At the bike shop which is closed because of the easter holidays :-D

Scott Scale 900 RC 2014 in size small. Anyone wanna guess the weight? I begin with 980 grams.

I wouldn't dare riding trails with that saddle. Those sharp edges can tear your ball sack off or give you dangerously cuts on the inside of your thighes were there is a major vein running.

Isn't it just a Speedneedle where the padding have fallen off? That shouldn't be a problem, it's not sharp around the edges, and it certainly can't cut the inside of your thighs!

Not sharp at all. The only time I've risked my dangleberries on a bike with a Speedneedle like this is crashing in to a barbed wire fence, but that is another story ;)

The padding covers the edges for a reason. That's a silly saddle for MTB-use. Just a friendly tip.
