Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

Looking for something to replace my steel upfront on my redline. I've seen some pretty light affordable stuff on ebay. Any one running anything like this? Some of the whiskey parts look nice but a little pricey.

how much are you looking to spend? The Niner carbon fork is sweet and light, a bit pricey but you see deals here and there. I had a Bontrager Switchblade on my (old) ss, not the absolute lightest but carbon and comfy, you find them very reasonable used.

I'm running an ebay carbon 29 fork. It needed some modification in order to actually fit. The stem would not fit, so I had to sand the steertube a little bit, and the crown race did not fit perfectly either. Once you get it mounted it feels nice. It's rigid and light and doesn't feel fragile. I'm 68 kgs, heavier riders might feel them a bit more flexy.

I would go for Niner if I were to choose again, or maybe the On-one http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FOOOCAR29RA ... _race_fork

recently placed an order on this one: http://www.carbonality.com/accessories/29er-fork.html

not very lightweight, but could be more stiff on the other hand...
