I'm considering swaping out my XX rings with some aftermarket ones, specifically a 38/25 set for my XX cranks. I'll probably be ordering from r-2 bike and the prices are similiar but doers anyone have any experince with the dutability or quality of the shifting? Thanks

Hi

I have been using a Tune 39T chainring for about a year - I don't ride that much but so far it has been great in shifting. Didn't notice any difference going from Sram XX to Tune. The weight is really good :-P

Agreed the weights are great. Shipping to the US is pretty stiff though. Glad to here they are working well.

Which do you like better? The BOR look more "engineered" to me.

FWIW, I ordered the Carbon-Ti brand 38/25 rings from R2 for the XX crank (156Q). Awesome shifting performance.
Albeit I have no experience with either Tune or BOR rings, so can't really help as between those brands.
