Mixing Sram XX with XX1

I don't this will work mixing XX1 with any other components not specifically made for XX1. The cassette, chain, and chainring have alternating thick and thin teeth to keep everything from coming off each other.

Edit: I stand corrected, this thread on MTBR posted earlier in this thread gives examples of it working.
