Anyone who knows where to buy a trainer tire (or slick road tire) that will fit 650B (27.5") MTB rims?
For example the NoTubes Crest 650B rim, ISO 584x21mm.

I have sent mail to Schwalbe and Conti, but no replies yet.

Thanks for your replies! Feel a bit stupid that i didn't think of the "king of 650B" Pacenti myself.

Anyone knows where to buy Pacenti in europe?

The Pari-Moto is too nice a tyre to simply be used on a trainer. They aren't as slick but IMO you'd still be better off getting a Schwalbe Marathon or Continental commuting tyre for probably half the price of the Pari-Moto. They're also likely to be a harder compound so you should get much better wear using them on a trainer too.

Yeah, I'd throw a 700c/29er wheel on there and get a trainer tire in that size. The outer diameter should be pretty close to a 650b MTB tire.

Hmm...I hadn't heard they had 650B commuter tires from Continental/Schwalbe, I see they have 28" size listed but no 27.5 like they do on the RR an NoN.
Another option is the Vee Rubber Speedster. However, many of the new Vee rubber 650b options are hard to find if not mythical.

I guess that's doable assuming

1. He has a road bike
2. They have compatible drivetrains

Or for training just throw an old 26er wheel in there with something like a 1.95 Schwalbe City Jet?

Thanks for all replies!
I think i have to tell some more facts about my bike setup, which i should have done from the start. Sorry for that misstake! The question remains the same anyway:
Is there a completely slick trainer (or road) tire available for 650B rims. I think there will be because of the "650B-boom" there is for the moment. But who wants to wait?!
I know that any kind of pattern will create a lot of additional sound on the trainer, so i prefer a completely slick tire.

My setup:
Frame, Scott Scale 700 RC with X-12 142x12mm through axle for the rear hub.
Wheel: DT Swiss 240S X12 with XX1 body and NoTubes Crest 650B rim
Drivetrain: Sram XX1 11 speed

Very unnecessary and expensive setup for a trainer, yes. :) But my intention is only to get this build working on a trainer for warm ups, threshold tests, component tuning, etc. I normally use my road bike for indoor sessions.

A road wheel would probably work if it wasn't for the X-12 through axle. And i'm not sure if the index for an Sram 11 spd road cassette is the same as for the XX1?!

you could always go to your lbs and ask them to order you cheap tires by cst. they make oem replacement tires for the old 650b bikes. i think we sell them for $15 ea. if you are just using them on a trainer i don't personally see the point of buying any thing good just to ruin it on a trainer.
