Hi Guys,

Right I've had a fair few of the chinese carbon bottle cages they have served me well but I'm sick of them destroying my bottles always find they scrape the bottles leaving bits of the bottle missing.
So I'm wonder has anyone else experienced this with the cheap chinese cages.
What bottle cages do you guys use? After lightweight but reliable.

I do rather like the Enve and the Tune cages but they are very expensive for what they are both t are they worth and stop destroying bottles

Thanks

How light does this have to be? The Elite Leggero Carbon is 15 gr. But why carbon? The Ti King cage is indestructible, is 28 grams and certainly won't mark/destroy your bottles.

Or just file and sand the sharp edge on the cheap ebay ones!

Bontrager XXX, been using these for at least 6 seasons and training, MTB and cross, never ever lost a bottle.

Anyone tried the Carbon Works MTB cage? I know there is a thread about Carbon Works cages on the forum, but can't seem to find a lot of user reviews on the 6.5g MTB version. Would be nice to know if they work well with XC use.

A cost effective option would be the Planet X pro carbon. 22g for less than $30

You can get some cheapo ones off ebay from China for like £20 a pair, however, I purchased 2 of the Arundel Mandible's and they grip my bottles like nothing else. Sexy as f**k too!

Arundel Mandible is awesome. It's lightweight and holds the bottle firmly for all your jumps.

Saw a few photo of it. The bottle does not slip out from the bottom? Its strong enough for MTB?
