Yes, mail it to Specialized.
^^^^^unfortuantely he may well be right.
Epic would have Brain shock - you should be able to find the manuals on the web; if not, PM and I may have one.
I seem to recall that since the shcok is filled with Nitrogen, it woulld not be possible to refill at home without special equipment.

you can fill the charge with regular air. nitrogen is better, less temp sensitive, and less foaming IF air enters the oil damper (not likely), but it's not absolutely necessary. you do need a hypodermic needle to charge the chamber.
if, however, youre just looking to service the air sleeve, that can be done with the oil side of things untouched.

i am over it. every so many months my rear shock gives up. i would like the knowledge to do a seal and nitrogen refill myself.
had a rear motox shock refilled at a local motorcycle dealer yrs ago , so i know that can be done.
what do i need and how much nitrogen needed ,etc.
anybody have insite on a diy job for the 2010 rear shock /epic brain?
i cannot find any video or info on the www. someone has to have the knowledge other than fox or specialized suspension workers by now.

Checkout Rear shock Inertia Valve (IV) Shock link.
It has detailed instructions on how to service the air sleeve.
Other than that, you can send the shock to either Specialized or Fox for service.
