I am waiting for my 9.9 SL to arrive. When I ordered it, delivery was estimated last week of December. The size I have ordered is a medium. This is my first Canyon, previously I have brought Specialized S-Works bikes with an exception of a Cannondale.

I chose the Canyon because they are half the price of the S-Works, Scott SL and Cannondale F29 I have been comparing, in some areas have better specifications. The carbon wheel set specified on the other brands were not to my liking.

I did look at doing a custom built around the Scott SL frame and ENVE wheel set, XTR drive train and Fox terra logic forks. But the cost in the end was the deciding factor.

This is my first 29er I will post a review when it arrives and it has done some milage. So far it has been a good experience from Canyon.

Just received a letter from Canyon saying there is a 4 week delay with the component suppliers.
