I have a Cannondale with 1,5" front fork and SI alloy stem and handlebar (1 piece) that I want to swap for a carbon stem/handlebar.
Carbon bars are not the problem to find, but I seem to run out of luck when it comes to stems.

Anyone ever found a 1,5"carbon stem? Very light alloy would also be OK.
All I can find is 1 1/8".

1 option I have: Buy a Cannondale alloy stem that seems very expensive to me ($70,-)

Just keep in mind if you are talking Cannondale SI steerer/stem, they are not 1,5 but 1 9/16 inch.

Front fork is a Rigid Fatty.
All I found was that it should be a 1,5", but I will do some measuring tonight.

I assume that finding a 1 9/16" stem will be quite impossible?
I love my rigid fork, but want to add some softness by using a carbon handlebar.

From the Cannodnale site:
Stem:

Here is one more option: http://bikethomson.com/stems/lefty-head ... -mountain/
But I think your one piece stem/handlebars looks best.
Please post some pics of your Bad Boy.

Reason for wanting to swap is that I want to have a carbon handlebar for more comfort and have a stem length of 90 in stead of 100.

Am using the Bad Boy for light x-country and absolutely love it, just needs better comfort for 40+ miles courses
