Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

The 2012 models are much improved. Same ergonomics and seamless integration with other sram components like a reverb or xloc shock remote, but the "always require bleeding" issue is fixed. The standard XX calipers are now aluminum allowing use of sintered pads, resulting in breaking that matches the other elixir models (the world cup are mag, like the older XX).

I had Elixir CRs and got fed up with the constant bleeds. Decided to give SRAM one more chance with the new model and am glad I did. No other way to get the clean handlebar integration. The new ones haven't needed a bleed all season, while preserving the ergonomics and modulation I was very happy with.
