Hi Guys

Has anyone else dealed with the innolite guys??
I got their 29er carbon rims from a importer here in australia. awesome looking rims & dam light!!!!
The rims turned up with carbon lay up issues e.g the carbon is protruding all over the place. A riding bud also got these rims too, his flex when you press the side of the rim with your thumb!! (near the tyre hook edge) hes scared to remove the tyre incase the rim implodes!!!!
And innolite company isn't responding to the emails :?
p.s how do I add photos?

Here in Denmark the warranty is the responsibility of the retailer and not the manufacture. It may be different in your country?

That's pretty much the same with most hollow rimmed carbon wheels these days, at least in our experience. Even rims from some mmajor manufacturers have done the same. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it is common.

Anders, I think in the UK the warranty is the responsibility of the importer/manufacturer, not the dealer so it must vary from country to country.

In the UK most resellers will try to pass off responsibility onto the manufacturer, but legally it is the responsibility of the organisation that sold you the goods.

I'm not 100 percent sure about that. The seller has to make sure that the item is fit for purpose, or if not, is described to the buyer in the condition that it is in, but I'm fairly sure that warranties are only covered by the company that supplies the warranty, which in most cases is the manufacturer?

In this case to be fair though, the item was bought from the importer and did turn up in a poor condition so the importer is immediately responsible I believe, as the item wasn't apparently fit for purpose.

In theory the retailer sells the product with warranty to a
The customer, with means that's the retailer delivers both if need be, wher he claims is warranty from is not relevant.i probably means that he can't offer you a new rim but cash back perhaps ?
I'm sure it's wont go like that without an argument or two );

Also I haven't see a carbon fibber rim that I couldnt flex the walls of !
