Will a frame made of cardboard be as stiff as scandium / aluminium / titanium or steel?

Has anyone rode a frame made of cardboard?

My friend seems to feel I may well encounter problems with mud and rain.

Any views would be gratefully received!

....and you say that Ruben is a joker......

You should probably check out the 'paper build' on the general forum.....
.....but it still has to work!

this all depends on the quality of the toilet tissue the cardboard tube came from.

i like sharmon for the toptube because its lite but the downtube should be from cheaper tissue roll because it will be heavier and stiffer.
