Nikh, the Goodridge brake hoses have a clear plastic covering. This prevents the hose from scratching the frame (unlike the old Shimano hoses).

The clear covering means the braided Stainless looks really cool (especially on a all black bike).

I have the carbon looking goodridge hoses on my bike. Look quite good on my silver bike.
I found a recent review of hope skewers
Hope Steel "Holds the wheel but fails to inspire confidence"
Hope Titanium "Hope makes some lovely gear. Sadly these aren't"

Nikh- If i purchase a F80x from the states it will cost me £425 pounds including delivery. But as far as i know i will still have to pay v.a.t and some sort of import tax on it.

Has anybody tryed doing this before what were the additional charges like?

Thats strange as they get 5 out of 5 from a review of 8 users on MTBR!

Oh well I guess I'll see for myself.
