Hey,

Over the winter I am planning to build up a Yeti SB66 C. My wishlist I have put together could use some gram shedding and I could use some advice. I dont want to sacrifice toughness but I would love it if I could hit the 23 lb mark. (Current wishlist is around 26)

Here is what I have put together.

Frame = SB 66 C
Fork = Fox Talas 36 160
Headset = Chris King Inset 2
Bar = Answer Carbon ProTaper 720 AM
Stem = Chromag Ranger
Brakes = Hope Tech Evo 6" Rotors
Grips = ODI Lock-on
Post = Rock Shox Reverb
Seat = Selle Italia SLR Tenko FLow
Drivetrain = All SRAM XX
BB = Chris King
Hubs = Chris King
Rims = Atomlab Superlite
Spokes = Atomlab Superlite
Chain = Connex by Wipperman
Seat Clamp = Token TK161 w/ Ti Bolts
Tires = Schwalbe Nobby Nic

I am currently unsure if I want to go platform pedals or clipless.

Any suggestions on where I may be able to loose some weight would be appreciated.

Thanks

You could definitely get some lighter wheels for this build. Enve XC rims laced to Tune hubs would probably save about a pound or so, all of which is rotational mass which would be much more noticeable than shaving weight in other areas.
