Hi can someone recommend me a lightweight rear MTB hub for V brakes as my present one just snapped on me. Thanks so much.

I recommend Extralite. Light, durable, easy to adjust bearing preload, easy to service, and easy to obtain spare parts from the company.

If you do not want to invest a lot of money, take the AC (American Classic). Very nice are WI (White Industries), but they are not too light...
