My Extralite RC1 Ultra is for sale she weighs only 1190g for a medium.

At $999 and the current exchange rate its a great deal.

That sounds like a better deal to me, or you could try the standard FRM hardtail - quite a bit heavier but a nice looking bike.
.....but it still has to work!
