I thought that the Supersonic version was the wide version, and maybe only the older tires? I had a pair myself, but they didn't work out for me tubeless. If the Racesport version is as wide as the "old" Supersonic I'd gladly get another pair.

The Racesport is as wide as Supersonic on the RaceKing 2.2. As for the tubeless here is what has always worked for me:

1. Scrub the inside of the tyre with Isopropyl Alcohol
2. Mount and inflate the tyre with 90g of Stans
3. Shake it, add more air and take it out for a ride around the block
4. Dismount the wheel, shake it more, and add more air if needed.
5. Repeat point 3 and 4 until no more leaks.

The above has worked for me 100% of the time, on the second ride the tyre looses very little air - like 0.1 bar. The key for me is the ride around the block.

Normally that works for me as well, but it didn't with RK SS. I might have a go at the Racesport version though...

A tire that is 2.4" in width will have less resistance than a 2.2" tire?

Yes, especially with lower pressure. Schwalbe made a scientific about rolling resistance on different trail surface for tyres with different width and pressure. The conclusion was that on anything but tarmac, lower pressure and wider tyres have the lowest rolling resistance.

I weigh 170lbs. What do you suggest my psi be on my Continental Race King Supersonics when I put them on?

Are you running them tubeless? If yes, I would start at 1.8bar rear and 1.6bar front. If running tubes, may be a bit higher.
