Frame is Scott Scale 30 and its bb shell is 89,5mm wide. Shimano teh doc syas that with this width I have to use 2,5mm spacer between bb cup and frame. I removed the old bb and there wasn´t this spacer. Do I have to use it with new bb? Everything worked fine exept left bearing got stuck(rusty).

If your old crankset was the same make and model, then you probably do not need the spacer b/c you would have noticed difficulty while shifting. Therefore, if your Shimano crankset and BB are different, then you should consult the Scott manual.

I only replaced the BB and did not put this spacer. Just don´t understand, why Shima says it should be there.
