The front piece of leather on my Speedneedle is beginning to fall off at the edges. Does anyone have suggestions for glue to use? If I don't fix it now it's going to become much worse soon I think. I searched for other threads, but I only found ones with broken rivets.

I've used traditional contact cement with good success bonding leather in the past. Not a speedneedle specifically, but leather + surface. Apply to both surfaces, let dry, stick, press, wait, success.

Many guys ride the SN with the leather and padding removed. It seems to be still quite comfortable.

If all else fails it may not be a bad option.

Thanks! I want to try to fix it, I'm not sure my shorts will like it if there's rivets under the leather.

My friend has removed the padding and I'm pretty sure there are no rivets.

Old ones had rivets, eventually they fail.
The last several years (at least 4-5), the rails are bonded to the shell, seems to last well :-)

When I look underneath the saddle, there are four rivets at the back.

I thought there was one in the front as well, my mistake.

I'm pretty sure it's the "new" version I have (yellow/black rails)?
