I used to use bar tape, but found it's not the most comfortable of the lightest for me.

I'm currently using Specialized new XC Lightweight foam grips. 12grams the pair and quite comfortable even after a 6 hour race, no sore spots!

Before these I was using ESI Racers Edge for a couple of years. Very nice grips.

Hmmm, I didn't know Specialized made foam grips. I'll have to check them out.
