fitting gxp chainset to specialized BB

frame is Specialized carbon epic with, according to Spec: an integrated pipe billet bottom bracket ensure stiffness and efficiency.

I would like to replace the Shimano chainset by a Truvativ Noir that I've been informed is GXP format. I do not see any BB cups on the bike so it does not appear to be a case of simply swapping out the BB cups - so can it be done?
