Is anyone out there using a Parlee PF30 to 24mm bb on their MTB?
I am asking because I am thinking of trying it with a set of XTR 980 2x10 cranks.
I currently have a ti 29er with a PF30 bb- I am using a SRAM PF30 bb and cannondale hollowgram cranks.
Though I love the lightness and stiffness- this setup is a headache to maintain. Bearings go bad- tends to creak a lot, etc. I am realizing that I never had problems on my old bikes with threaded bbs and XTR cranks.
I am also thinking of running this Parlee setup on a 2012 S-works epic 29er if it will work well.

I'm using a Wheels Mfg. adapter for PF30 and Hollowtech2 crank. The crank is an FC-M985. No problems so far, but only used for a short time yet ...

only used them on road so far but with good success, the roads here can be as mucky as off road as well
